Preparing for tomorrow's detention hearing for Ruben "El Menchito" Oseguera-Gonzalez, the son of the head of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel, US prosecutors reveal they have "intercepted communications" of El Menchito revealing his role in drug dealing, violence & other crimes. 
Prosecutors say that El Menchito was involved in meth production, the importation of coke into the US, money laundering and murder and kidnapping.
Aside from a wiretap, prosecutors note they have evidence from surveillance, confidential sources and cooperating witnesses who "worked with [El Menchito] in
connection with the production, transportation, and trafficking of illicit narcotics."

I believe this is the first time that US prosecutors have revealed they were conducting a Title III wiretap on members of the CJNG.
