Dear Special Education Advocate / West End SELPA Member Districts:
Leadership Associates has been contracted by the San Bernardino County Superintendent of Schools and the West End SELPA Member District Superintendents’ Council to conduct a search for a new SELPA Administrator.

We have scheduled times for stakeholders to provide input about the desired personal and professional qualities anticipated in the incoming superintendent, and we invite you to participate. Your comments will be used in the recruitment process and referencing checking of

applicants for the Administrator position.

During this meeting, consultants will share an overview of the process, and then ask two primary questions:
What are the desirable qualities, characteristics, background and professional and personal experiences for the next

SELPA Administrator?
What do you see as the strengths of the SELPA and the major challenges facing the SELPA in the years ahead?
Your session will take place on Friday, February 28, 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m., in the Beldon Room, at the San Bernardino County Superintendent of

Schools, West End Educational Service Center, located at 8265 Aspen Avenue, Rancho Cucamonga, CA 91730. Consultants Marc Ecker and Kent Bechler will be available during this time to hear your comments.

comments in writing to the consultants by sending them to Penny Pyle at [e-mail].
