The majority of the large private law firms paid by public funds in special education are members of @CSBA_Now. The firms choose to pay $5k to $25k to be business partners at CSBA.

CSBA states in the link below that "Business partners undergo a thorough vetting process that
allows @CSBA_Now to put forward only those companies whose services are determined to be capable of meeting members' high expectations for quality and service".

School Board members are there to advocate for students and close the achievement gap and prepare students for college
and career. This is in contradiction to what the private law firms hired by Districts do when they fight reading remediation (dyslexia). The law firms know what it takes for a student with a reading disability to read -- the firms sign confidential "hush" agreements with parents
to provide services so students can get reading remediation. I understand why parent sign agreements for their children.

@CSBA_Now has not vetted thoroughly the law firms who are fighting reading remediation at IEP meetings and due process. #FAPEdenied #educationnotlitigation
