Obviously, dentists and our staff are in a very vulnerable position being in such close contact with the open mouths of people every day. We are all anxious about our own health and that of our families. 👇
Obviously, dentists and our staff are in a very vulnerable position being in such close contact with the open mouths of people every day. We are all anxious about our own health and that of our families. 👇
However, we do have a duty to care for our patients and want to be there for those who need us. Accordingly, we have decided to remain open for as long as we can to treat emergencies and to complete necessary work. Routine appts will be postponed. 👇
We will be introducing pre screening over the telephone to risk manage potential cross infection. Please do not attend if you have a cough, sore throat or fever. We will also only have one person in the waiting room at a time. All arriving patients will wash their hands. 👇
We will use additional barrier protection, specifically, gowns and visors, in addition to our normal gloves and masks (so don’t get a fright when you see us!). We will also use dental rubber dam to minimise salivary spray during procedures. 👇
Unfortunately, no children will be permitted in the practice unless they are an emergency patient. We can only accommodate patients. We do not want any others to accompany them. We will introduce more measures as they are recommended in this very fluid situation. Thank you. 👍
