Dear Min @AdrianaLaGrange. This is our 7 yo non-verbal daughter interacting with her EA last wk from home. Her EA modifies class work to allow her to keep up with community school peers. Your announcement today to end EA support is devastating for our family and others. 
Despite these challenges, and because of the assistance of well trained professional EA staff, she performs on par with her neurotypical peer group in math, science and reading. She loves school, her EAs, teachers and peers.
Your announcement today that these people are unnecessary was ill-considered. Please think through the impacts of these decisions.
It has been reinforced just how critical our EAs are as we try to work through her school work these last two weeks. But we have been critically assisted by our EA and teachers from EPSB.
To say the least we are overwhelmed by this decision and urge you to reconsider.
