Yes, I had higher salary offers from schools in bigger towns, but for me, the 169 Rs I was offered at my school village meant everything.

2/n The parent in question seems to have found the teacher's attire on a public platform objectionable. Point noted. What is unjustified is the 'reaction'. At 18, young adults are exploring their own sexuality gender irrespective. Instead of that sharp reaction...

It was very rare for a person in that area to study as education was hardly available nearby. But he knew the value of it,

High levels of an #infection in #Massachusetts is causing both gastrointestinal (#diarrhoea, #vomiting) & respiratory (#cough, #sinus, #headache) symptoms WITHOUT typical fever or runny nose - School children & parents/guardians across #boston suburbs affected for last 3 weeks.
Note the CDC data suggests very little SARS-CoV-2 (Omicron) or influenza (flu) at this time in Massachusetts or Connecticut or New Hampshire. So diagnostic tests being used are not catching this circulating pathogen, or a seasonal coronavirus/norovirus/adenovirus is the culprit

The research titled ‘The Impact of the Covid-19 Pandemic on Teachers’ was conducted by Turkish #Maarif Foundation in 25 countries across the #world to understand how the teachers and school administrators have been affected by the #pandemic.
After analysing the responses, 5 main #themes emerged by how the teachers and school administrators react to the #Covid19 Pandemic, which changed the all #education. Here is the thread with the findings from the research, and more will be discussed at the #IstanbulEducationSummit
The coping strategy is the most dominant main theme used by the participants to manage the challenges faced during the #pandemic. There are also subthemes under the coping strategy such as turning into an opportunity, crisis management, #adaptation, #occupation, #solidarity, etc.
The most amazing classroom I've ever entered is in the Govt Inter College (GIC) in Dudhli village, near Dehradun. It's a mathematics lab, and the #teacher who envisioned this is Jagdamba Prasad Dobhal. People in Dudhli choose GIC over private schools. It's not hard to think why.
The first time I entered this lab, I saw students with spherical stones. Mr Dobhal had taught them about the 'sphere' and had asked them to fetch stones of that shape from the nearby jungle. In the stones, the 2D circle had suddenly jumped out of the paper and had come alive.
While I spoke to Mr Dobhal, the students suddenly started playing. Few played chess, few others played ludo. "What just happened," I asked Mr Dobhal. He said the rules of the classroom were that when he was busy, the students must play games instead of wasting time chatting.
The so called Maharaja of Dhar got a call from his son's school's housemaster (The Daly College, Indore), requesting the school fee, while this jerk was having his breakfast. Listen to the conversation and be prepared to get shocked.

1. If you have a problem with the school charging the fee during the pandemic, feel free to take your child out of the school and enrol in any other school of your choice.
