1. Love is the Best Way (5): Matt 22:37-40 (NKJV) – “Jesus said to him, ‘You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’ This is the first and great commandment. #Love
2. And the second is like it: ‘You shall love your neighbor as yourself.’ On these two commandments hang all the Law and the Prophets.” #Love
3. We have emphasized that God promised us REST this year. So we are applying the principle of Rest in our relationships. We have said that one of the most common forms of stress is relationship stress. #Love
4. Relationship stress is there everywhere because the sin nature robbed humanity of the capacity to love. Where there is love, there is rest; and where there is no love, there is no rest. Jesus summarized the whole laws into one – Love. Galatians 4:14 (NLT). #Love
5. Let’s consider some items of the law. It says do not lie, do not steal, do not kill and do not covet. So, if you love someone you won’t deceive him, steal what belongs to him, kill him or lust after what belongs to him. Love is the fulfillment of the law. Rom 13:10. #Love
6. The measure of love is how we treat other people. I believe that one of the greatest discoveries in this life is knowing that what you do that affects man automatically affects God. Knowing this will regulate your conduct like nothing else on this planet. #Love
7. You can’t accept Jesus' words in Matt 25:31-46 and not have a shift in your values and behavior. Believe it or not, you will meet the fact after you leave this life that you were created by someone and that the measure of success for your life cannot be defined by you. #Love
8. Jesus painted a story for us that at the end of the day the measure of how well we did would not be tied to what we acquired, our titles nor our degrees; it will be how well we treat other people. #Love
9. Why will God in his relationship with man be writing don’t steal, not His own property, but your brother’s and sister’s property. Why? Whatever you do to them is affecting Him. #Love
10. Every human being on this planet is an extension of God. Whatever God does not deserve never give it to a human being; and whatever you feel that God deserves, only that you should give people – that is the law. Matt 25:46. #Love
11. The big question is: what are you doing right now to your family members, neighbours, and colleagues? What are you doing to your employer or employees? Dear leader, what are you doing to your followers or citizens? What are you doing, dear followers, to your leaders? #Love
12. Whatever you do to others, you are doing it to God. Would you say it is okay to treat God the same way you are treating those people in your life or around you right now? Is what you think or say about them now the right thing to think and say about God? #Love
13. Fast forward to that day when we'll stand before God & He'll do the assessment of the life we have lived. Will you qualify as a sheep or a goat? Especially for those of us that say we believe in God, maybe this is a good time for us to review how we practice our faith #Love
14. 1st John 4:20-21 (MSG) – “If anyone boasts, ‘I love God,’ and goes right on hating his brother or sister, thinking nothing of it, he is a liar. If he won’t love the person he can see, how can he love the God he can’t see? #Love
15. The command we have from Christ is blunt: Loving God is loving people. You’ve got to love both.” #Love
16. To what extent does love influence how we treat one another? To what extent does love influence the organization we run? To what extent does love govern our community, nation, and laws? God is interested in us not only just as individuals but collectively. #Love
17. When you have a nation that protects the lives and the dignity of the individual, where human life is not cheap – that is love in practice. We cannot love and fail. #Love
18. How then do we demonstrate this love? Service: serving other people; adding values to their lives; solving problems for them. When we serve people we give them the best. You cannot treat another human with indignity and mediocrity and then say that you know God. #Love
19. Our world is going through a pandemic, and what I have observed is that nations, organizations and families are responding differently. This situation is challenging our values, the very foundation and ideology our world is built on; challenging our capacity for love. #Love
20. If you see a nation with good quality healthcare you know there has been love there. They may not call it that, but love as a value has been driving the system. Nations with some measure of love will have a greater capacity for wealth; their citizens are empowered. #Love
21. 1st John 3:16-18 (NLT) – “We know what real love is because Christ gave up his life for us. And so we also ought to give up our lives for our Christian brothers & sisters. But if anyone has enough money to live well & sees a brother or sister in need & refuses to help #Love
22. ... how can God's love be in that person? Dear children, let us stop just saying we love each other, let us really show it by our actions.” #Love
23. What love action will you be able to take today and this week? We are facing a deadly enemy now we can’t even see – a virus. Together we will defeat it and it is through the power of love because God is love. #Love
24. Lookout for that family on your street that is running out of supplies and share what you’ve got. Sacrifice is the measure of love– “For God so love the world that he gave” –that is love in action. And when things return to normal again, let’s go with the power of love #Love
25. Can you pray for yourself right now that God should help you to love people the way Jesus and God himself has loved you; that you need the capacity to make life better for other people, to treat them well and with excellence in Jesus name. #Love
