Effective 8PM tonight, Gov. Larry Hogan's Executive Order directing Maryland residents to stay at home will go into effect. Only essential personnel will be allowed out. People may leave their homes for food, medicine, and emergency medical appointments. 1/7 #MDprepares

Only essential businesses will remain open in Maryland. Gov. Hogan instructed them to limit exposure to customers and to allow telework as much as possible. Violation of this order is a violation of State law and is a misdemeanor. 2/7

If convicted, violators are subject to up to a $5000 fine and 1 year in prison.

Gov. Hogan is asking anyone that has traveled outside of the State to self-quarantine for a period of 14 days. 3/7 #MarylandCoronavirus

Three drive-thru testing sites have opened at Motor Vehicle Administration emissions stations in Glen Burnie, Waldorf & Bel Air. A testing site has opened at FedEx Field in Landover. Testing at the sites is strictly limited to those with orders & an appointment, Hogan said. 7/7
