The US is surpassed by at least 11 countries (up to >6X), even with its recent surge. Recent needs to emphasized: doing lots of tests too late, after diffuse spread, is of far diminished value.

5. The rate of positive tests. With the recent surge it is down to 14.3% today (it was >25%). The successful countries that got ahead of their outbreak had positive rates <5%.

6. How anyone can assert the US as best in the world for #COVID19 testing—when it was the singular, catastrophic breakdown that now accounts for tens of thousands of American lives unnecessarily lost and our world epicenter status—is unfathomable.
