Is Trump declaring Martial Law?

So after hiding in a bunker for a bit, staying silent as more 140+ cities & towns across the US rise up against police violence & racism, Trump finally addresses the nation to grandstand and threaten Martial Law?

He is a failure. And a coward.

Trump is being deliberately evasive. He wishes he could just go full-on authoritarian. He wants to be able to declare Martial Law.

Who will stop this fascist fuck?

How will US politicians and branches of government in an ostensible democracy stand up to him?

He called uprisings across the country a “crime against God,” threatened #MartialLaw and then posed in front of a church, Bible in hand, AG Barr, NSA O’Brien, and defense secretary.

Notice the trifecta: politics, military, religion.

This is some fascist fuckery.

White supremacy hand in hand with police, military & Christianity.

And who will stop Trump?

By acquitting him in his impeachment trial, the Senate gave a greenlight that has led to this.

He knows no one will stand up to him.

We the people must.

And I say this recognizing fully that uprisings across the country are bigger than Dems vs Republican.

The uprisings are against police violence and against racism, against structural oppressions that allow them.
