Good morning. Have seen quite a lot of my work on here under the hashtag #dontbuythemail as an answer to the question posed by this morning's Mail on Sunday.

Some tweeps have used composites I created as part of an audit of the way the Press treated #immigration in the runup to #brexit. But they haven't used the most damning versions, so here is the full catalogue from the *Daily*, not Sunday, Mail over the past decade. (2/?)

Now things start to hot up. The war in Syria leads to ever more refugees trying to escape to Europe. And lots want to come here. There's a bit of compassion for Alan Kurdi, but with the prospect of an EU referendum, very little for anyone else...

Referendum year and the real doozy. Everything is building up to this. With one solitary front page that is not hostile to the idea of foreigners coming here, the Mail (and Express, Sun and Telegraph) play the immigration card to get us out of the EU.

But people still risk their lives to get to Europe and across the Channel; we still depend on foreign nurses.
All that hostility was to achieve a political objective.
Net immigration is still >100k pa - and will be after Jan.
And migrants are still a Good Thing.
