Mr SK Dhingra, a 80-yr-old lawyer with almost 50 yrs of practise died y'day after consecutive heart attacks in his chamber. Nobody put him on a stretcher.
The daughter too kept calling emergency clinic for sending a doctor or at least sorbitrate but to no avail.
She tried to persuade them about the urgency but the security said its the protocol. They were asked to pass through a busy red light to enter.
She gets in, sees ambulance missing from its usual spot, outside lawyers' chambers. She is told the ambulance is parked elsewhere.
Now the driver of the ambulance is elusive.
Meanwhile, the dispensary informed her they don't have any doctor, or emergency medicine that could help her father & that he needs to be taken away. How, they can't answer.
But before Mr Dhingra could be put in the car, he passed away after the third stroke.
Other lawyers, clerks stayed away & watched the episode from a distance, perhaps worrying about #coronavirus.

Let no other life be lost like this.
It passes a resolution, demanding action against negligent court staff, security.
