1. In Postlab, connect your Drive.
2. In Finder, drag-and-drop your media to a folder on Drive.
3. Link to your media in your NLE.

With Postlab Drive, "editing online" means Drive becomes another media drive, just like that high-speed external drive on your desk or that shared storage in the office. Except this one's out there... ☁️

"Can I do an online edit with Drive?"

Maybe.

"Online" meaning you're editing from the original media, camera source, and/or the highest-resolution / least-lossy codec your NLE's project can handle.
