Because yesterday @smerredew - #ATA Local 80 Rep - outright stole my work, then claimed he did so because my work would be better if amplified by him. 1/

I’m over progressive men who claim to be all about uplifting women but feel free to steal our work, then expect us to be quiet & smile sweetly because it’s what is best for the team. And when a man outright brags about stealing my work, well. That’s an all new level of WTF? 2/

So, because the background here is quite lengthy - and because I’ve now been approached by 2 other individuals who had their work plagiarized by @smerredew (a woman & a gay man), I’m calling it out. 3/facebook.com/525403767/post…

I’ll end this with a message to my progressive allies and friends; if being a feminist and a progressive requires me to allow men to steal my work and take credit for it, we are in big trouble on the left. #ableg #abed

PS: this is what gaslighting looks like. My work was posted was publicly & had over 2k shares before Merredew plagiarized it, then claimed he did it because who is gonna listen to little old me, right? BTW, he’s the real victim him, apparently. 🤷‍♀️ #ableg #ata #abed
