I've been holding off from positing this publicly, as it's somewhat cynical, but the evidence is mounting. I suspect both Dems and Repubs in-the-know are participating at national and state levels to hype a low-level virus as an excuse to implement systems and spending.
Example: Suddenly Texas laws and taxpayer funds are being poured into research and response to outbreaks and systems of control for outbreaks. @Townhall and thr lawmakers suing @GregAbbott_TX aren't in opposition to exploitation, but how it's done.

In state after state, "Republicans" are instituting nearly as draconian measures under the premise of fighting the #WuhanCoronavirus, even as it is getting increasingly difficult to hide the low-mortality nature of the disease and the nature of the response to it.
Blue-check "conservative" pundits seem fine with confronting every issue under the sun except the fact that every response, every taxpayer dime spent, every flex of govt authority is unwarranted and constitutes a nationwide scam and a nationwide bipartisan conspiracy.
It's not a "conspiracy theory" when we can cite the parallel behaviors by both parties and bipartisan support at the national and state levels. This is on par with the so-called "Patriot Act", DHS creation, and exponentially ramping up military spending in response to terrorism.
They did the same thing in response to hurricanes, floods, forest fires, and blizzards with #ClimateChange panic, they did the same thing with "bailouts", "too big to fail", tax increases, increased regulations, and Obamacare in response to the 2008 crash.
We, as a people, are being duped by an elite class determined to implement changes by any means necessary, including crashing the economy and humiliating the people of this nation through edicts demanding masks and goggles, in order to sell the excuse for "why?".
Every outrage, every on-camera argument, and at least the vast majority of blue-check punditry bemoaning the state of things, from riots to big tech bias to coronavirus responses - it's almost all theater. It's theater as an excuse for not responding authentically.
Who among us would EVER pay taxes if we believed we were in the vast majority in opposition to our tax money being spent on spying on us, paying for industrial baby murder, funding paychecks for media and academia dedicated to mocking and vilifying us and our values?
They are releasing criminals from the prison systems even as they change the standards for what constitutes a criminal act and what the nature of freedom is. Who needs prisons when the citizenry at large is kept like prisoners under the premise of safety.
We have ceded the fight generationally until now we finally see the barred doors closing on our society. In the name of "safety" against disease, heresy, environmental disasters, foreign invasion, poverty, racial disharmony/discrimination we have traded away nearly every freedom.
Stop being duped. Stop giving them the benefit of the doubt. Stop being talked into "questioning everything". There is no trusted leadership but that from God and the shared values we have as patriotic brothers and sisters in Christ. No more. It's time for *them* to cede power.
Let's take our nation back. Refuse to comply with unlawful demands. Gather together as brethren with prudence and vigilance. Do not open your doors to wolves. Do not donate what God has blessed you with to their causes. Eschew their media and institutions. Advocate Christendom.
