On 1 Aug 2020, university lecturer & activist, @dadiyata was disappeared from the gate of his home in a Kaduna sub-urb. @Elrufai's son gloated over it in an un-nerving tweet that suggests he may know something about what happened

In April 2020, another son threatened another citizen who criticised the governor with #gangrape of his mother. @SamuelOgundipe, a reporter who reported the story for @PremiumTimesng was also threatened with "arrest" or worse.

Lawyers have born the brunt of the Governor's ire. In Feb 2017, he arranged to abduct @Audu, pioneering entertainment lawyer & member of @NigBarAssoc, from his home in Lagos. Both the High Court & the Court of Appeal have ruled that egregiously unlawful
