2/The pre-print studies 382 children (<21y) who had close contact with an infected person-77% were infected. "Nearly 1/3 of the infected children who had an infected sibling[..] did not have any other known infected close contacts, suggesting probable child-to-child transmission"

3/ "Only 61% of children 6-13 years of age were symptomatic, and less than 1/3 of these children reported respiratory symptoms [...] By comparison, symptoms reported by SARS-CoV-2-infected adolescents were generally similar to those described in adults."

4/ The study also found that nasopharyngeal viral RNA loads did not differ in symptomatic and asymptomatic children of any age. This is not equal to infectivity, but a prior study had reported a close correlation between viral load and infectious virus in symptomatic children.
