Indian American is going to play a very critical role in the USA Election post emergence of #KamalaHarris

Let's explore
2
There are around 11 million Asian-Americans eligible to vote in America this November elections. They comprise five percent of the total electorate.
Of this 11 million Asian-Americans 3.9* million are Indian-American voters

* some other source suggest 1.8 million
3
In the event of a close contest, this vote bank of influential Indian Origin could make a difference!
and #KamalaHarris is a major deception planned by the Democrats to divide the Indian-American votes.

.. this is where the game of perception starts
4
As of now, a majority of India-American stands with @realDonaldTrump

We understand that @POTUS and @narendramodi are political buddies. They have established a great rapport and this would swing Indian-American voters their way.

This is what the opposition also understands
5
If you remember, @narendramodi had famously and controversially said at the Houston event last year that the next government would be Trump’s

This statement was a big departure from the unwritten rules of diplomacy - not to take sides in political contests of other nations.
6
Now here enters #KamalaHarris! - first Indian-Asian-African origin to enter the vice-presidential race

Rising on #IdentityPolitics but it has created a confusion on her being - Indian-Asian-Jamaican or Indian-American or African-American or a Woman-of-Colour.
7
The the influential Indian-Americans understands that #KamalaHarris, political positions that are not India-friendly and are far to the left on the political spectrum.

But who the F is Harris ..
8
The news of #KamalaHarris in the vice-presidential race has not recieved a favourable response from the influential Indian-Americans.

A majority of them expressing unfavourable opinions about her track record and stance towards India and the community

But who the F is Harris!
9
The #KamalaHarris is the daughter of a Chennai-born mother, Shyamala Gopalan, who arrived in the US in 1960 to pursue cancer research and a Jamaican-origin father, Donald Harris, who retired as an economics professor from the premier Stanford University.

Does it matter now?
10
#KamalaHarris interestingly identifies herself as a Black! with Caribbean ancestry - Jamaican-origin father, Donald Harris.

Though she acknowledges her mother as Indian, and her ties to Chennai is well documented, rarely has she referred to her Indian ancestry.
11
#KamalaHarris selection has generated mixed reactions from about 3.9 million Indian-Americans, both Republicans and indecisive voters, who believe she lacks understanding of what she stands for and does not consider herself as a woman of Indian origin.

Is she #ProIndia ?
12
#KamalaHarris has been know as African-American candidate rather than Indian-American!

The love for the lage Indian vote bank makes her project her Indian origin

If media reports are anything to go by, Harris would want to garner Indian votes, if not Asian

It may not happen
13
#KamalaHarris was critical of the situation that emerged in Kashmir after the revocation of #Article370

We have to remind the Kashmiris that they are not alone in the world. We are keeping a track on the situation. There is a need to intervene if the situation demands
14
When India revoked the autonomy of Indian-administered Kashmir, #KamalaHarris had a warning for New Delhi.

We are watching!

Now the influential Indian-Americans must watch her every move carefully.
15
The roots have in it ! #KamalaHarris's uncle Gopalan Balachandran told the Hindustan Times, Harris likes India. But that doesn’t mean she gives a free pass to everything that India does.
16
#KamalaHarris also backed a Democratic Senator Pramila Jayapal’s resolution urging the Indian government to lift restrictions on Kashmir.

..And Yes!

It is also important to note that Harris did not attend the much-hyped #HowdyModi event at Houston, Texas.
17
On the controversial Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA) which caused much outrage and protests in India, #KamalaHarris along with four fellow Democratic Senators took a position against the amendment.

She is clearly not #ProIndia
18
If you ideologically identify as #nationalist or a right-wing #HinduNationalists

It is important to carefully scrutinise #KamalaHarris’s position on issues related to India.
19
#KamalaHarris has always claimed to be of #AfricanDescent rather than Indian.

Most importantly, most of the #ProIndia forces in USA believe that her record as an attorney in California is highly questionable. She has in fact promoted corruption in California
20
The influential Indian-Americans also believe that #KamalaHarris is a supporter of the #AntiIndia, #AntiHindu brigade, who calls herself Black, hates Indian side of her family, never recognised herself as an India
