This rascality has to stop NOW! Another peaceful protester Jimoh Isiaq killed by a policeman during the Ogbomosho #EndSarsProtest. This is so painful and hits me differently. The demand is clear #EndSars not to reform the unit.

#Thread
The death of Jimoh Isiaq should trigger a more constructive and robust engagement with Nigerians who are expressing their displeasure with the police.
Lautech is my alma mater, I am not pleased with what's happening in Ogbomosho at the moment. However, I enjoin everyone to maintain law and order to prevent further escalations.
I am not resting on my oars.
I will speak to the issues on the floor of the House of Representatives. Beyond that, a series of consultation is being done to find a lasting solution to police brutality.
My heartfelt condolence to the family of #JimohIsiaq. We will fight to see that justice is served. And the will of the people prevails.

If the Federal Government claims that 2.6m households have benefited from the N20,000 palliatives, does that imply that 52 billion Naira was shared amongst Nigerians? I’ve been pondering on this to make sense of it.
The FGN needs a better strategy, because if after this huge amount has been disbursed to households, I’m still getting loads of calls and pressure from many of my people asking for my help with palliatives, then the Government strategy isn’t right.
My colleagues are facing the same pressure. The MHR is a bridge between the FG & the people, but due to the failed structure of our Nation, people are misinformed & frequently look up to lawmakers as executives believing there’s a budget for them to use to cater for their needs.

Atiku and PDP spend so much time criticizing PMB and APC, they forget they were in power for 16 years and failed Nigerians! They forget Atiku was in govt for 8 yrs and didnt achieve any of these broad plans he is speaking about now? Why didnt they privatize/sell NNPC in 16 years?
It is best for PDP and Atiku to focus on telling Nigerians why they won’t fail again. Why they should ever be trusted again with our nation’s wealth? This #2019Debate would have been the perfect opportunity for Alh Atiku to try to prove that.
PDP always feel the easiest way to promote their ambition is to attack PMB & APC. Meanwhile their Govt was given an opportunity and they failed. They should focus on redeeming their image & tell Nigerians how they want to correct their failures and stop using APC as their defence
