OF NIGERIA AND ALAUSA PROTEST
A THREAD 1. A friend of mine had a brother who told his parents he wasn't going to school. My friend went ahead and studied law in uni. But His brother chose to join motor parks boys, and became 'Yes' boys for politicians #EndSWAT@henryshield
2. He boasted to their parents that he was going to be more successful than the one who went to school. He gave many examples of people who went to school and have no jobs. He said the only way to make it here is the path he chose...@segalink #AlausaProtest#BetterTogether
3. He continued to grow and Political Seasons were seasons of mega monies. He was part of those who gave him monies to get into law school. He had become richer. He got a lady pregnant, he became an husband...and he was living the #Naija dream #EndSWAT#EndSARS
4. We couldn't say what he does for money, but he has money and no he is not a thief. He is just plugged into the money pipe that drains our treasury, Impoverish our intelligence, and bequeaths us with Thugs. #EndPoliceBrutalityinNigeria#EndBadGovernanceinNIGERIA
5. What about my friend? After He graduated with good honours. He got a job that was paying him tokens, as every Nigeria Lawyer knows. After 10 years, he gave up on #Nigeria and the race - yes the uneducated brother has beaten him.
6. My friend relocated. He lost, and he isn't the only one that lost. It is the tale of most Nigeria youth. They #hustle but they mostly get nothing. #EndSarsNow#EndSWAT
7. Don't look at #AlausaProtest thugs has poor, they are not necessarily poor, some of them are richer than many graduates. They are plugged in to the endless source of corrupt wealth that makes Lagos filthy and cruel.
8. This is me just given perspective. I know my friend's brother cannot be part of the #thugs at #AlausaProtest protest. He should be above the runners now. He is possibly in command of greater things for greater Lagos😕
9. Just understand that as it is, many people see education as a scam in Nigeria, and it is if you consider the experience of the unemployed. Like I keep saying, WE CAN BE BETTER, WE DESERVE BETTER, AND WE WAN'T BETTER. Shalom! #EndSWAT#EndBadGovernanceinNIGERIA
So this is what I suggest, this is a momentous time. Stand with the people, pray, speak, enlighten, do all you can to birth a new Nigeria 🇳🇬
