This will ensure:

3. Critical sunrise sectors get necessary support from the Govt

2. support sunrise sectors

This PLI is aimed at getting more investments into the country

@FinMinIndia has worked together with @GoI_MeitY, @heindustry, @Pharmadept, @DoT_India, @TexMinIndia, @MOFPI_GOI, @mnreindia, @DIPPGOI and @SteelMinIndia to work out PLI scheme for 10 different sectors

India's sunrise sectors, which have grown into specialising, have been included in 10 sectors for which PLI scheme is applicable

These include Advanced Cell Chemistry, Broad Spectrum of things that come under Electronics and High-efficiency Solar PV Cells

The final proposal of PLIs of individual sectors will be apprised by the Empowered Finance Committee and then approved by the #Cabinet

Viability Gap Funding for economic infrastructure will now be extended to social infrastructure also, under 2 different schemes

Schemes include activities related to #WasteWater treatment, #WaterSupply, #SolidWaste Management, Health & Education sectors

Govt. is also giving a sub-scheme which will approve demonstration & pilot projects under social sector

Will provide upto 80% capital expenditure and upto 50% operations & maintenance cost in this, along with the State govt. / concerned dept.
