Can I use the same argument of @D_Roopa_IPS (Firecrackers are not old enough practice/absent in "ancient" texts to count it as Hindu) for वाचस्पत्यम् कोश ?

वाचस्पत्यम् referred by Nityanand in his tweet is a work of 19th century. It is in "modern" category.
If you @D_Roopa_IPS ji insisting to have proof from ancient sources about firecrackers then you can't take support from modern sources.

Moreover, if one random tweet from someone is good enough for you to endorse yr claim, then it shows yr bias, nothing else.
Also @D_Roopa_IPS ji,

• Is Dr. Swamy an ancient person ?
• What is his credential to even speak on this topic ?
• How is he a leader ? Which govt. portfolio is he handling ?

Again it shows yr selective bias to prove yr point.
Here also @D_Roopa_IPS ji, you are mentioning NGT.

Let me ask you -

• Is NGT is qualified to say anything on matters related to शास्त्र/ancient texts ?

• Even if yes, have they released any research paper backed by authentic data to prove that Firecrackers cause pollution ?
And if NGT has not released any authentic data on relation between crackers and pollution, how can u @D_Roopa_IPS ji advise people to file PIL and appeal ?

How can anybody appeal against something which is baseless ? Isn't it NGT's responsibility to prove what they says ?
And if you still advising people to follow such baseless and unverified orders then what is the difference between an IPS and those "misguided youth" ?

Since you disagree to sources, you are free to speak but @TIinExile can't speak about disagreement. Why this double standard ?
Your time is up !

An IPS is threatening a common man just due to disagreement on one point ?

Is this how you and your police force are operating ? How can anybody then trust Police in this country ?

(Concerning Secret Practices).

• Target Person - अधर्मिष्ठ (Unrighteous).

Deadly poison to be introduced on articles/clothes by trusted म्लेच्छ people.

Note the use of म्लेच्छ people in such an atrocious but important task.

Smoke of the powder of speckled frog, centipede, lizard etc. can instantly kill the person.

What an agenda driven portal @Wikipedia is !

In this thread, you will see an example how they are trying to paddle fake agenda by citing "laughable/substandard references" in the field of #History

• Wiki Page - Battle of Haldighati
• Fake Agenda/Claim - Mughal Victory

1/6
2/6

To substantiate the claim "Mughal Victory", two references are cited

• 1st ref. - The Mughal Empire at War (pic 1)
• Writer - Andrew De La Garza (pic 2)

This book released in 2016 only and has only 4 lines for this battle p56 (pic 3)

Issues with this citation are ...
3/6

Issues in 1st citation -

• Cited reference is absolutely insufficient as it doesn't contain any primary material to support claim of Mughal victory

• Writer has no credential on his name to get cited on subject like "Battle of Haldighati".

Now coming to 2nd reference

This is a case of false interpretation of सूत्र literature like #अर्थशास्त्रम् and trying to misquote कौटिल्य

This happen when u don't know #संस्कृतम्

Here, I will put facts from the same chapter

दास is not slave. How ? Read in this thread

1/6
2/6
The very first सूत्र in this chapter says :
उदरदासवर्जमार्यप्राणमप्राप्तव्यवहारं ...

Except उदरदास (The one who is दास out of his compulsion), nobody from 4 वर्ण can be made दास

Violation of this rule attracts various levels of दण्ड ... Highest is प्राणदण्ड.
3/6
Above rule is made crystal clear in next

As a general rule, nobody from आर्य (ब्राह्मण/क्षत्रिय/वैश्य/शूद्र) can be made दास

कौटिल्य further states
म्लेच्छानाम् अदोषः प्रजां विक्रेतुम् आधातुं वा (but मलेच्छ, who is out of आर्य fold, does it)

Starting a thread on #कामसूत्रम् (1/n)

I will dismantle vile propaganda to denounce this wonderful text as a sex manual

Before I start, read this article by me to understand कामसूत्र as a शास्त्र
indiafacts.org/kamashastram-o…

Hindi version - indiafacts.org/kamashastram-o…
2/n
Lack of basic information leads to false propaganda (see the tweet in the image)

कामसूत्र is not written by Richard Burton. Authorship is with वात्स्यायन (~300 BCE) - a well known fact

Person who doesn't know such basic info has made a video to denounce this text !!
3/n
In fact, title of Burton's translation work in 1883 was - Kamasutra of Vatsyayana

Burton himself has acknowledged that this is not his work but is of वात्स्यायन and Burton has just translated it

So, saying "Burton written Kamasutra" is an agenda driven white lie.

Image of स्वस्तिक on a #Petroglyph in #India (At ~3900 mtr altitude)

Petroglyph = Carving on rock/rock piece #RockArt

• Place = Manda village, Zanskar Valley (#Ladakh)
• Dating = 50 BCE (~2000 yrs ago)

Pic 1 – Zanskar Valley on Map
Pic 2 – Found Petroglyph
2/3
~0.6 mtr stone piece has a carving of स्वस्तिक using a sharp stone tool. Such an art is first time discovered in this region and probably in #India too.

Pic 3 – स्वस्तिक image highlighted
Pic 4 – Traditional स्वस्तिक (Understanding Purpose)
3/3
From a nearby sanctuary, स्वस्तिक variant carved on a stone plate (See the image) is also found (~50 BCE)

It is not a petroglyph but an important connecting link of Swastika with #Ladakh region from the same era as of the petroglyph depicted in the above tweet

How to understand "clock timing" in #Sanskrit ? A short thread 👇

Let us start with few basic words -

• O'clock =

1/n
2/n

So,
• 1 o'clock =
• 2 o'clock =
...
• 12 o'clock =

Simple. Isn't it ?
3/n
Now,
how to understand 2.15, 3.30, 4.45 and so on ? Again, two basic words -

15 minutes
(सपाद = +15 min. & पादोन = -15 mts)
30 minutes

So,
... Go on like this.
