Can I use the same argument of @D_Roopa_IPS (Firecrackers are not old enough practice/absent in "ancient" texts to count it as Hindu) for वाचस्पत्यम् कोश ?
वाचस्पत्यम् referred by Nityanand in his tweet is a work of 19th century. It is in "modern" category.
• Is Dr. Swamy an ancient person ?
• What is his credential to even speak on this topic ?
• How is he a leader ? Which govt. portfolio is he handling ?
Again it shows yr selective bias to prove yr point.
Here also @D_Roopa_IPS ji, you are mentioning NGT.
Let me ask you -
• Is NGT is qualified to say anything on matters related to शास्त्र/ancient texts ?
• Even if yes, have they released any research paper backed by authentic data to prove that Firecrackers cause pollution ?
And if NGT has not released any authentic data on relation between crackers and pollution, how can u @D_Roopa_IPS ji advise people to file PIL and appeal ?
How can anybody appeal against something which is baseless ? Isn't it NGT's responsibility to prove what they says ?
And if you still advising people to follow such baseless and unverified orders then what is the difference between an IPS and those "misguided youth" ?
Since you disagree to sources, you are free to speak but @TIinExile can't speak about disagreement. Why this double standard ?
Your time is up !
An IPS is threatening a common man just due to disagreement on one point ?
Is this how you and your police force are operating ? How can anybody then trust Police in this country ?

In this thread, you will see an example how they are trying to paddle fake agenda by citing "laughable/substandard references" in the field of #History
• Wiki Page - Battle of Haldighati
• Fake Agenda/Claim - Mughal Victory
1/6
2/6
To substantiate the claim "Mughal Victory", two references are cited
• 1st ref. - The Mughal Empire at War (pic 1)
• Writer - Andrew De La Garza (pic 2)
This book released in 2016 only and has only 4 lines for this battle p56 (pic 3)
Issues with this citation are ...
3/6
Issues in 1st citation -
• Cited reference is absolutely insufficient as it doesn't contain any primary material to support claim of Mughal victory
• Writer has no credential on his name to get cited on subject like "Battle of Haldighati".
• Place = Manda village, Zanskar Valley (#Ladakh)
• Dating = 50 BCE (~2000 yrs ago)
Pic 1 – Zanskar Valley on Map
Pic 2 – Found Petroglyph
2/3 ~0.6 mtr stone piece has a carving of स्वस्तिक using a sharp stone tool. Such an art is first time discovered in this region and probably in #India too.
3/3 From a nearby sanctuary, स्वस्तिक variant carved on a stone plate (See the image) is also found (~50 BCE)
It is not a petroglyph but an important connecting link of Swastika with #Ladakh region from the same era as of the petroglyph depicted in the above tweet
