The Jopadhola (my tribe) have always been majority in Tororo district (Uganda's UN) that had Bagwere, Banyole, Samia, Iteso, Bagisu, Baganda, Somalis. The Japs okayed the Tororo County breakaway, but said like others before, those breaking away go form their own headquarters.

In about 1500AD, brothers Adhola Owiny entered present day Tororo from Bar-El-Ghazel in South Sudan. Adhola, who had a cancerous wound stayed behind, fathering the Jop-adhola, while Owiny move to Kisumu to father the Luo.

Adhola's descendants occupied what would later become West & East Budama (Tororo county). East Budama was left us a 'buffer' to protect against Masai cattle raids from Kenya, until it was occupied by Iteso about 1800AD
