🚨BREAKING: Ivanka Trump was deposed Tuesday by the DC AG's office as part of its lawsuit alleging that the Trump Org and Presidential Inaugural Committee abused >$1 million by "grossly overpaying" for use of event space at the Trump hotel in Washington.

Depositions of witnesses have been underway over the past several weeks. Tom Barrack, chairman of the inaugural committee, was deposed on 11/17.

The AG's office has also subpoenaed records from Barrack, Ivanka Trump, Melania Trump, and Rick Gates.🧐
Convicted felon Rick Gates "personally managed" discussions with the Trump hotel about event space and told Ivanka that he was "a bit worried about the optics of PIC [Presidential Inaugural Committee] paying Trump Hotel a high fee and the media making a big story out of it."
Gates agreed with the hotel's managing director and *Trump family members* to pay $175,000/day for 4 days.

The committee's event planner–Stephanie Winston Wolkoff–advised AGAINST it, telling the committee & the Trump family that the charges were at least TWICE the market rate.💥
Wolkoff "noted unease with the offer during an in-person meeting with (Donald) Trump and Ivanka," per DC AG Karl Racine.

Wolkoff has RECEIPTS! She sent a follow-up email to Ivanka and Gates to "express [her] concern," but "the Inaugural Committee accepted the contract anyway"🔥

BREAKING: Great news! @Pfizer to submit an Emergency Use Authorization request to @US_FDA *TODAY* for its #coronavirus vaccine—they’ll will distribute the #vaccine "within hours after authorization.”

Pfizer has enough to dose ~12.5 million Americans this year, much more in 2021.
Pfizer’s #vaccine was 95% effective at preventing #COVID19 and had NO serious safety issues.

✅94% effective in people >65, who are more likely to develop life-threatening illness
✅Safety data available for 100 children between 12-15 yo

I fully expect FDA to authorize it.😄
Once Pfizer and BioNTech file their application, the data will be scrutinized by regulators — including at a full-day advisory committee meeting in which external scientists will meet to make recommendations to the agency on whether it should clear the vaccine for broader use.🧐

🚨BREAKING: Two separate New York State #fraud investigations into Trump and his businesses—1 CRIMINAL and 1 civil—have expanded to include tax write-offs on millions of dollars in consulting fees, some of which appear to have gone to @IvankaTrump.💥

The inquiries —a CRIMINAL investigation by Manhattan DA Cy Vance Jr and a civil one by the state attorney general, @NewYorkStateAG James are being conducted independently, bBth offices *issued subpoenas* to the Trump Organization in recent weeks for records related to the fees.🔥
Trump reduced his taxable income by deducting ~$26 million in fees to unidentified consultants as a “business expense” between 2010 and 2018.

Some of those fees appear to have been paid to Ivanka.🧐

⚠️NO SURPRISE: the surge of new #coronavirus cases is WORST in states whose leaders neglected to enforce virus containment efforts or failed to implement mask mandates, such as #SouthDakota and #NorthDakota, 2 of the 3 hottest #COVID19 zones in the world.

A relationship between policies and #coronavirus cases is CLEAR:

States with more consistent control policies—such as in New England—avoided a summer surge and are now having a smaller fall surge, as opposed to states that rolled them back very quickly like #Florida or #Texas.
#NorthDakota has made little effort to contain the #coronavirus.

For a while, its residents were spared. Now, nearly 1 in 10 North Dakotans have tested positive for #coronavirus — about a third of those in just the past 2 weeks — and **1 in 1,000 have DIED of #COVID19**.😱

ENCOURAGING: Pfizer says the vaccine is >94% effective in adults over 65 years old, who have higher risk for serious #COVID19 and death, and added; “Efficacy was consistent across age, race and ethnicity demographics.”

Based on current projections, Pfizer and its partner expect to produce globally up to 50 million vaccine doses in 2020 (2 doses needed for each person vaccinated) and up to 1.3 billion doses in 2021.🙏
