School situation in Zurich.
The situation in schools is currently tense, but stable, said an official. The main goal is that the children and young people can attend school and complete their semester and graduate regularly.
Since higher case numbers were recorded after the holidays, especially at the Sekundarstufe II, the high school students and Berufsschule students will stay home in a special week after the Christmas holidays until January 11, 2021.
During this week, the students work independently on assignments at home. They are accompanied by their teachers.
Regular school starts as scheduled on 4th of January. Mandatory mask rule extended until end of February.
