Before I get started on the above article, I'd like to point out two things. One, @Melbchief has written a bunch of articles attacking Dan Andrews during COVID. Two, he wrote this article that suggests the ADF was on offer. We know different now. #auspol

So, @Melbchief will you correct this article and point that that.
1) Other states used Security Guards.
2) The ADF was NEVER on offer to run / provide security?

Now, the issue this sort of article is that it looks like actual journalism. Unlike a Rachel Baxendale article which anyone can tell is complete nonsense. Whilst this is a well written article, it is not at all balanced. The article is there to attack Dan, not inform voters.

The article makes no mention that the majority of these deaths were in Private, Federally Regulated and Funded Aged Care. This is clear one-sided journalism. This article would have you believe that it is all Dan's fault, which is not true. #auspol #ThisIsNotJournalism #springst

Speaking of @jeff_kennett, the man who suddenly became an expert on running a state and a health system when COVID started (lol). It was Jeff Kennett who closed Fairfield Infectious Disease Hospital in 1996. We would have been better prepared for COVID if not for Kennet. #auspol

Is @Melbchief criticising @DanielAndrewsMP and @timpallas for delaying the budget? Delaying a budget during a crisis makes perfect sense. That way you can assess the financial impact and prepare your recovery accordingly. This paragraph is ridiculous. #auspol #ThisisNotJournalism

This article mentions NSW a few times and plays at the notion that NSW = Good and Vic = bad in terms of COVID response. #MSM media has gone quiet on those two travellers who skipped quarantine and travelled to Melbourne though. #auspol #ThisisNotJournalism #springst

The media has barely mentioned the traveller that got through earlier in the year that NSW kept very quiet. #MSM put almost no pressure on @GladysB and her Government over the #RubyPrincess and no pressure on the Feds re Aged Care in Vic #auspol #ThisisNotJournalism #springst

What this article shows (when looking at all COVID coverage) is that any mistake @DanielAndrewsMP makes or doesn't make for that matter will be run through every news cycle in a desperate attempt to take Dan out. It's all of MSM not just Murdoch, including the ABC. #Auspol

But NSW / @GladysB and @AusBorderForce can let international travellers off a boat without quarantine and let travellers go straight from the airport to other states and the media does next to NOTHING. #MSM has failed us. #auspol #springst #ThisisNotJournalism

In summary, this is a rubbish article that looks to attack Dan by leaving out facts that don't suit the narrative. It also fails to point out how well @DanielAndrewsMP handled the 2nd wave. @Melbchief should consider being more balanced from now on. #auspol #ThisisNotJournalism
