1/I was checking out Modules for an Enterprise Blockchain (permissioned) certificate. Only 4 solutions were mentioned by name: #Ethereum , #HyperledgerFabric (@IBM), @inside_r3 and @Ripple. The first 3 are Enterprise Blockchain Platforms. @Ripple, is for Trade Finance.
2/Most ppl don't realize, Ethereum has an Enterprise version. While it can be tailored for individual business needs, the gas fees are still prohibitive. 101blockchains.com/enterprise-eth…
3/So I decided to see what's new w/IBM and found this article from Dec 10th. This is a big teller for me. Two Giants in Tech teaming up. @awscloud@IBM prnewswire.com/news-releases/…
4/Helping businesses migrate to AWS
"Through a unique combination of security technology and services that embrace AWS services, IBM Security can work to help clients securely migrate to AWS and modernize workloads as part of their broader hybrid cloud strategy." -IBM Newsroom
5/'Fabric is a private or “permissioned” bc network that is used in industries such as finance n supply chains. It allows companies to control access to their netwks n keep sensitive data private, w/some cross-industry coop through dedicated channels n verifiable smart contracts'
6/IBM backed, "Hyperledger Fabric had a major release with version 2.0, which significantly improves performance while adding some decentralization aspects for data sharing." cointelegraph.com/news/ibm-backe…
7/IBM is also working with Stellar #XLM to create Stable Coins on WorldWire. Stellar is working with Central Banks. See what's happening here? stellar.org/case-studies/i…
9/Let see if #r3, who can settle using #XRP. uses AWS:
"As an AWS Partner Network Advanced Technology Partner, R3 is committed to maintaining the Corda and Corda Enterprise platforms to run on AWS" r3.com/partners/aws/#…
11/"Ripple is ideally suited for use in trade finance as it was specifically built to support cross-border payments and international transactions – a ‘bitcoin for banks’, if you will. -tradefinanceglobal.com
Once #Codius is deployed, #XRP will conquer the $1Q Derivatives Mkt.
12/It appears, AWS has built the enterprise infrastructure for the #IoV. #IBM has dev the security solutions for AWS. r3 runs on AWS n can settle w/#XRP n #XDC. Ripple Cloud runs on AWS and Xcurrent can settle w/#XRP. AWS already works with banks like Capital One,
13/but don't they also need CB's to integrate w/it?
'as part of our continuous engagement with finance ministries, central banks, n regulators, we discuss how AWS’s services are designed n built to allow all of our customers to operate n innovate securely' d1.awsstatic.com/whitepapers/Se…
14/If investing in Crypto, like #XRP#XLM#ETH, #XDC, is too speculative for you, ck out the prices of IBM n AWS stks @ NYSE. Private Ripple stock is avail on @linqtoinc. You can also invest in partners or supply vendors of a company, ex: @HSBC@BankofAmerica
Just remember #DYOR

2/Well I think I understand how they achieved a robust solution to the Cap Theorem.
FlareNetworks will be utilizing the Avalanche Protocol. As you can see from this whitepaper, they've come up with a solution. files.avalabs.org/papers/platfor…
3/"Scalable Avalanche is designed to be massively scalable, robust, and efficient." "Secure Avalanche is designed to be robust and achieve high security." "Decentralized Avalanche is designed to provide unprecedented decentralization." It solves the Blockchain Trilemma
I believe I've uncovered information that will illuminate on the "What", just not the "How".
Read the following and see if you agree with my conclusion. #XRPCommunity
Here, @joelkatz discusses the improvements he would like to make to the XRPL, such as Decentralization, Security and Performance. He also says, further down, that he wants to improve Partition Tolerance.
It seems like he changes the subject, but has he?
Decentralization, Security, and Performance aren't equal in blockchain. In order to improve 2 of those components, the 3rd component will suffer. This is known as the Blockchain Trilemma, or the Scalability Trilemma.
