0.45mL/vial pre-dilution + 1.8mL saline added = 2.25mL
2.25 / 0.3 = 7.5 doses (NOT the advertised 5 doses)
Let's use at least 1 more dose per vial?

We have ~25,000 doses in AB for December. So that means ~5,000 vials and potentially ~5,000 extra doses. That means 5,000 more people could be vaccinated - the sooner the better!
FDA confirmation that there are 6 full, effective doses in each Pfizer vaccine vial, from their fact sheet: fda.gov/media/144413/d… 
WOW - Pfizer shipping fewer #vaccine vials to USA, since 6 doses per vial is now official.

If this pans out, and labels change to reflect 1 extra dose per vial in Canada, it will be harder for our vaccination program, but a win for the world: less #vaccine waste, more lives saved.
