The 7 components I used to a hero section that converts.

You clicked the publish button. The landing page is live, and you are excited to see conversion juice.

However, this did not happen.

You have spent a lot of effort to create your ideal landing page, hoping that the product will take off.

Many visitors did not even scroll through the landing page.

They bounced immediately after scanning the hero section.

πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
Many new landing pages are suffering from this pain.

You need to keep the hero section simple and include a clear value proposition that visitors cannot resist further interaction.

πŸ•΅οΈβ€β™‚οΈHow to analyze your competitors like Sherlock Holmes?

Still using statistics from research papers? C'mon, let's bring LIVE #data to the party!

Mindset shift! You're not really in competition. From the customer's point of view, they're "alternatives". (kudos Brian Balfour)

The 2 principles I use to gather insights from "alternatives", such as website traffic, social media feed, content strategy, newsletter frequency, ad creatives, winning keywords

πŸ‘‡
1/ Compare one company with another
e.g. Identify the gap between Airbnb and Expedia, research their customer's preferred channels

2/ Choose a product vertical and go deeper
e.g. Understand the landscape of productivity SaaS, its marketing strategies, and content frequency

Have you noticed any virtual event fatigue?

You might feel the same πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡
I get tired easily.

In virtual events, you need extra attention, your eyes, ears, brain, etc.

Don't get me wrong. I still participate in virtual events especially my favorite topics.

But I am less excited than before.
Many events look like clones, and the speakers are being reused in one event after another.

Don’t be surprised if your sign up has not increased.

Because you don’t take the participant’s experience seriously.

Here's my take: πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡πŸ‘‡

I have been the Head of #Growth for some time, and people usually assume I can quickly turn a company from an idea into a unicorn in no time.

The hard truth is not.
It really took me 7 years to get here. Sometimes I feel frustrated because I can't perform some tricks in my day job.

But #sideproject filled this gap and allow me to build, test, develop, and solve any problems I want to. #nocode
