On a day that #China sentenced a citizen journalist to four years in prison for practicing a right enshrined in the Chinese constitution, all #EU member states reportedly agree to reach an investment agreement with #Beijing. scmp.com/news/china/dip…
One of the sources said an agreement could be reached as early as Tuesday. The move comes after EU negotiators said there had been “positive developments” on Beijing’s commitments on labour standards, one of the major sticking points.
