Civilisation facilitates the abuse of POWER, which corrupts evolved human nature, so that instead of serving society's long-term survival, it leads to its self-destruction.

This is why ALL past civilisations declined & fell, & why our own civilisation will be gone before the end of this present century - unless this fatal flaw is recognised & corrected.

Ours is the first civilisation with the potential to do so.

This potential resides in our understanding of Darwinian evolution, which tragically the social sciences made a taboo of applying to human nature & society, in overreaction to its misconceived abuse in Nazi Social Darwinism & racial ideology.

Civilisations arise through society's SELF-exploitation, which ultimately leads to its self-destruction.

The West has democratised society's self-exploitation, which is leading all the more quickly to its self-destruction.

But it doesn't HAVE to be like this.

When I say that civilisation corrupts evolved human nature by facilitating the abuse of power, what I actually mean is the STATE, or #TheMatrix of state & capital. The most important forms of corrupting power are Money & spurious Moral Authority.

Spurious moral authority used to be based on a religious ideology (as it still is in many Muslim countries). In the West it is now based on a spurious claim to nationhood & an ideology which goes to the opposite but equally insane extremes of Nazi racial ideology.
