The choice of the @calgarysun to post misinformation (the cover is an outright lie) from a Brian Lilley editorial is bad enough, but @CalgaryCoop you’ve chosen to subject your workers and customers to those lies.

Magazine brands that spread conspiracy theories like the National Enquirer and @nationalpost are incredibly damaging to society.

If you aren’t sure about why I’m lumping @calgaryherald in with American Media Inc. it is because they are both owned by the same foreign company.

Just because a company operates in Canada does not mean it is Canadian.

AMI is owned by Chatham Asset Management. They also own @PostmediaNews, and all the brands under that umbrella, including @calgarysun & @calgaryherald.

They played a pivital roll in helping to support Trump.

The (false) claim the Sun is implying is that the federal government is responsible for healthcare.

This headline is deflecting responsibiuty for the failures of our provincial government—which is actually responsible for healthcare.
