At 1:00 PM, the panel finally makes it way into court, this being the longest we have had to wait for the panel to resume. Justice Okuwobi states that, the panel had been waiting on information from the forensics team regarding the status of the Lekki Toll Gate. #ENDSARS
The Lekki Concession Company is up first, LCC Legal Counsel Rotimi Seriki seeks a date for the reopening of Lekki Toll Gate. Justice Okuwobi states that the forensics team the panel hired would have a report ready by Tuesday, February 2, 2021.
Following this ruling, petitioners’ counsel Adesina Ogunlana persists in his opposition of the re opening of the toll gate stating that his application to LCC counsel had not been responded to. Justice Okuwobi then adjourns all LCC related cases to February 6, 2021.
