Mumbai Metropolitan Magistrate has issued notice to Kangana Ranaut in the criminal complaint filed by Javed Akhtar against the defamatory comments passed by Ranaut during a Republic TV interview.

Upon directions of the Court, the Juhu Police filed their inquiry report today which states that the offences alleged against Ranaut are made out for further investigation.
The notice is returnable on March 1, 2021.
