W/e 19 February, 2182 people above the 5-year average deaths number.
The % figures show the increase/decrease over the 'normal' death rate
Deaths are 18.8% above the 'normal' number
This is a 10% decrease from the previous week
w/e 19 February. The above-average deaths figure does not mean that they were the only #Covid19UK deaths.
4079 deaths were due to the #Covid19UK virus though some others may be still due to #COVID19 but excluded as they died more than 28 days after testing positive.
In the week ending 19 February 2021, there were 2182 more deaths in England and Wales compared with an average year
The deaths from #Covid19UK decreased to 4079
We need this number to reduce to zero before we can say the virus is beaten.
2 March 2021
The first vaccinations are taking place in the UK. This is good news, but the rollout will take many months while #Covid19UK deaths are still over 4000 per week,
we need to stay in #lockdown
We need to eliminate the virus not learn to live with it #COVIDzero
Total excess deaths due to #Covid19UK up to 19 February is 111,466

Had my first dose of vaccine, the astra zen one. I have gone to bed to rest. Actually feel totally fine, but it is a great excuse to get waited on, I have placed my order for my tea (aka dinner, supper etc).
Not even a sore arm, but shush do not tell @HotPot32052191 😸🤓
Day2 of the vaccine. In the night had believed that the heating had been left on, it was so hot. Surprised when I felt the radiator and found it cold. Seems I have had a bit of a temperature. My arm feels sore around the injection site. Took a co-codamol and back to bed...
It is still day2 but have still not heard back from @BillGates about how to get the microchip working... anyone else having this problem? 🤣
