"OK, Mr. Market. If you're going to continue to be in this bad mood, just take my money and give me some more of the stocks I want".
$PTON (add, at $94.40)
$PLTR (new, at $21.90)
$TTD (add, at $582)
If the carnage continued this afternoon, it was going to be one more from $CHWY $GDRX $DDOG $RDFN $U but maybe next week, along with any opportunistic adds into my other favs like $PINS $ETSY $MELI $SE $DOCU $TDOC $CRWD $NET $FVRR $ROKU $SHOP $SQ $TWLO $ZM.
$PTON : Extreme strength in both the Product adoption (high NPS) along with Connected Fitness. Plenty of runway (even after COVID), along with International expansion. Room for lot more products while making the Ecosystem even more attractive. Great growth and Financials.
$PLTR : Their Gotham adoption on the Gov side will only expand with more and more agencies. Would like to see more traction on the Commercial Foundry side.
$TTD : Whatever $AAPL $GOOG $FB does, confident in Jeff Green and his Team to continue to innovate around the best possible solution for Online/CTV advertising while offering transparency & results to Brands/Advertisers.
Irrespective of whatever the latest fearmongering headline is, and further possibility of near term multiple compression, I'll continue to believe in these strong/durable trends (for many more years to come)...
and continue to invest in the proven best-of-breed Co's within (plus points for recurring Revenue), led by some of the smartest people in the world.
$PINS : You know the drill. That rare positive Social network, with 450M users with shopping/ideas intent, the ideal demographic for advertisers. International APRU has a long way to go. Lot of useful features being introduced both for Users and Advertisers.
$ETSY : Attracted tons of sellers and buyers to the Platform due to COVID (which would have taken years otherwise, masks helped lowering the CAC) , most of them will stick around for years. Financial improved a lot. Outlook is good.
You can be skeptical of their stock run-ups or concerned about their current valuations, but you cannot take away their incredible Business performances over the last year.
It's fair to be concerned about their Valuations, but even if growth slows down compared the last few Qtrs (expected in many cases), these Business are on a different trajectory compare to pre-COVID.
