#Pakistan targeted India with impunity because Indian leadership was told they are a nuclear weapon state India cannot respond. A strong pro Pak lobby played the Pak game of dialogue despite terror for peace in the sub continent. Uninterrupted & uninterruptible dialogue tamasha.
So even after 26/11 Mumbai terror attacks India did not hit back, resulting in more terror attacks. ISI tested PM @narendramodi's resolve too. Terror attacks on our consulate in Afghanistan & strikes at Pathankot, Gurdaspur... Uri & Pulwama resulted in #Surgicalstrikes & #Balakot
The #airstrikes in #Pakistan was India imposing heavy costs on Pakistan. Terror is now no longer a low cost option for Pakistan. @PMOindia is willing to bomb Pakistan to prevent terror strikes despite a nuclear overhang. @ImranKhanPTI & Pak army are on notice+ exposing Pak terror
Pakistan's nuclear bluff was exposed in #Kargil conflict. IAF should have bombed Pak supply lines & many Indian lives may have been saved but that old mindset prevented bolder action. Same mindset prevented a response post 26/11. @PMOindia exposed Pak thru #Balakot air strikes.

Leads from 2008 #Ahmedabad blasts (57 killed) helped in identifying the perpetrators of Delhi blasts (39 killed) & led us to L-18 #BatlaHouse: @singhkarnal2, then Jt CP @DelhiPolice tells me on #IndiaFirst. @GujaratPolice tracked #IndianMujahideen. Had reported 2008 Ahd blasts🖕
In Ahmedabad blasts #IndianMujahideen terrorists had planted the 5th & the most powerful bomb at the hospital. Their aim was to kill not just injured from other blast sites but also their relatives, doctors, police etc at hospital (Yet some give intellectual cover fire to terror)
#IndianMujahideen terrorists had also planned serial blasts in #Surat. IEDs planted on trees & billboards to inflict head injuries. Fortunately the circuit was defective.100s of lives were saved. A @GujaratPolice officer had told me a special team was constituted to neutralise IM

We are not only the world's largest but also the most vibrant #democracy. And do we need certification from some western organization?
We live in a noisy vibrant democracy. @PMOIndia/Govt are being criticized openly & freely on issues on TV, in print, on digital & social media.
India has strong & free courts of law. India has constitutional bodies & a vibrant press.
India does not & should not need certification on freedom. Vested interests may try to pull India down, but India must constantly work to strengthen economy, society, military & stand tall.
We must remain a democracy & not descend into chaos & anarchy.
Calling for breaking a country is not democracy but an attempt to create anarchy. The law must step in & take its own course.
Farmers forced the government to bring about multiple amendment & rightfully so. #democracy

1 China pulls back from Southern Pangong Tso
2 China retreats beyond Finger 8.
In Pangong Tso Apr 2020 situation being restored.
3 Now waiting for clarity on other friction points in Ladakh.
4 Depsang predates April 2020.
5 China occupies 40000+ sqkm of Ind territory since 1950s
Veterans on social media can enlighten us better but I am told:
1. Indian post was at Finger 3 (Dhan Singh Thapa post) itself
2. We tried to patrol till our claim line Finger 8. There was resistance by PLA.
3. PLA tried to patrol till Finger 4 own Tps went from 3 & stopped them.
Indian Army checkmated China at Kailash ranges & has other aces up its sleeve. China has realized India will no longer permit Chinese transgressions.
Temp halt in patrolling is to calm the situation down.
India China stand off/tensions will continue either in Ladakh or elsewhere
