1. On March 21st 1978 , Palestinian terrorists in Lebanon shelled heavily Israeli civilians communities along the #Israel-#Lebanon border
The shelling began at evening hours as people began returning home from work.
At the time of the shelling Shim’on Arussi and two other members of Kibbutz Menara drove back to the kibbutz in the from the agricultural fields where they worked, when a shell hit near the vehicle.
Shim’on and another passenger, Menachem Carmin were murdered on the spot. The 3rd passenger was severely wounded. It took some time until the emergency forces managed to reach the vehicle
2. On March 21st 1989, then Purim Day , a Palestinian terrorist from #Gaza , armed with knives had began attacking people celebrating Purim in central #TelAviv
Approximately at 15:10 , the Palestinian terrorist arrived to the corner of Zhabotinski and Yehoshua Ben Nun streets in Tel Aviv (near Ichilov hospital) and began stabbing civilians there.
After murdering 2 civilians and stabbing 3 more the terrorist managed to get on a roof of 1 of the buildings and began to throw towards boilers towards police forces that attempted to arrest him.
Eventually the terrorist was detained , only to be released during the 2011 Shalit Prisoners swap
3. On March 21st 1997 , a Palestinian suicide bomber had blew himself up in a packed cafe in central #TelAviv during the afternoon rush hour.
On Friday, the eve of Purim, at around 13:40 (1:40 PM), a suicide bomber detonated a bomb disguised in a handbag in front of the “Apropo” cafe in the Beit Hanna building on the corner of Ben-Gurion Boulevard and Adam Hacohen Street in Tel Aviv.
Immediately after the explosion the site of the attack was already filled with shocked bystanders trying to help the walking wounded.
Avital Cohen , that worked in the cafe Apropo was moderately wounded in the attack will later recall : “The place was packed , with people…”
“… A woman asked me for some water , I just went to get her the glass , I opened the door and then I saw all the chairs, tables and people exploding and flying towards me. I blacked out, woke up, and saw that everything was destroyed and my leg was all messed up…”
A crying man came up to me and started talking but I could not hear him , he shook my head with his hands, I just remembe looking at him trying to understand what happened “
The attack is remembered among the Israeli public, due to the picture of a police officer Ziona Busheri carrying a six-month-old infant girl in a clown costume , Shani Winter, who survived the attack because she was saved by her mother, who protected her with her body.
Ziona, which was right near the scene when the attack happened will later recall : “I heard the explosion and immediately knew that it was in “Apropo”, I ran like crazy. I saw the plume of smoke and followed the crowds. When I reached the scene I almost fainted…”
“… I ate there so many times , knew the staff , and now everything was destroyed , there was a small fire, people were lying on the floor bleeding , I heard a baby crying. I started yelling “A baby! A baby! Where’s the baby…”
“ I saw a stroller , came up to it and saw Shani , she was wounded , her hair was burned off but she was alive .I just grabbed her and ran, I saw an ambulance and gave her to a man that was near it , I told him “give them the baby now, I’m going to look for the family”
Shani’s mother and her 2 friends were murdered in the attack , 1 of them in the third month of her pregnancy. 48 people were wounded, including 12 people in critical condition

4. On March 21st 2002, a Fatah suicide bomber had blown himself up in the center of #Jerusalem, on King George Street, at the corner of Histadrut Street, near the “Aroma” and the “King of Falafel” restaurants
The attack occurred approximately after 16:00/4PM , the terrorist got out of a vehicle that brought him to the attack site , it began speeding from the scene , which immediately was noticed by people , that understood exactly what’s going on and then the bomber blew up.
Ilanit Icha, an eyewitness, said: "I was in a barbershop, on King George Street, I saw a car from which a man was getting off. I arrested yelling : 'There is a car here that dropped of a terrorist. Call the police. The car sped and left the scene and everything exploded. "
Hezki Lahenstein, 18, a new oleh from the Netherlands who volunteered at MDA, noticed the terrorist which seemed suspicious to him, shortly before the attack.
Noticing that Lahnstein suspected while of standing in front of him, the terrorist grinned at him "and in a defiant motion opened in front of me the coat he was wearing , showing the bomb and blew himself up."
3 people were murdered in the attack: Gadi Shemesh, (34), and his wife Tzipi (32), from Jerusalem, and Yitzhak Cohen, (48), from Modi'in.
More than 70 people were injured, 3 of the wounded were hospitalized in critical condition, six moderately and the rest lightly.

1.On the morning of Wednesday, March 23rd, 1994, at the Damascus Gate in Jerusalem, a Palestinian terrorist had opened fire towards a Victor Lescheber , a security guard in the near by Income Tax authority building.
In 1991 Victor made aliyah to Israel from Russia with his family. They lived in Pisgat Ze'ev. Victor, who was a computer programmer in the USSE, could not find a job due to language difficulties, so he worked as a security guard.
The terrorist shot at Victor at close range, while he was on his way to work, the terrorist then stole his gun and fled.
Victor was seriously injured, and succumbed to his wounds that night at Hadassah Hospital in #Jerusalem
