The Bench had in the previous hearing took cognizance of the fire accidents in hospitals in #Maharashtra and directed Municipal Corporations to conduct fire audits in all hospitals with immediate effect.
The Court will also hear a plea filed by a hospital seeking Court’s intervention in providing sufficient quantity of oxygen to the petitioner hospital as soon as possible. The hospital claims that they has been denied oxygen since April 12, 2021.
There is also an intervention filed by a fire engineer giving suggestions which the court could consider for giving directions to the local authorities in the unfortunate fire accidents happening in hospitals in Maharashtra.
