Israel continues barbarism in #Gaza. h/t @rerutled #GazaUnderAttackk
I apologise for ableism in earlier tweet which I have deleted.
A building that has housed international media offices including Al Jazeera’s and the Associated Press in the Gaza Strip was hit by an Israeli air strike that totally demolished the structure.

Israel’s bombardment of the Gaza Strip entered its 6th consecutive day, with air raids flattening a high-rise building housing the offices of media outlets, and hitting a refugee camp where at least 10 Palestinians – 2 children, 2 women – were killed. aljazeera.com/news/2021/5/15…
At least 140 Palestinians, including 39 children, have been killed in the Gaza Strip since Monday. Some 950 others have been wounded. In the occupied West Bank, Israeli forces have killed at least 13 Palestinians.

The club in Brooklyn that night in 2020 was full of queer people from Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Iraq, Lebanon, Palestine, Morocco, Jordan. And on stage with Ana Masreya were Mexican queen Koko Rokoko and Palestinian queen Eva Laurent. It was 🔥🔥🔥

When I started saying in public lectures that I was childfree by choice, women would track me down in a corridor, backstage, or in the bathroom to whisper “Thank you. I have never heard another woman say that out loud before.” feministgiant.com/p/unmothering
Most books/essays I have seen about being childfree by choice are written by white cis women. We need to hear from more women of colour and women from different cultural and faith backgrounds as well as trans men and non-binary people who choose to be childfree. I will write more
