Justice Rao: It is time that legal professionals stand up for the vulnerable section and help others. A union minister today said 550 orphans lost both parents, there will be more. We need to come in the forefront and do more. We have to help people to protect their rights.
Justice Rao: There is digital divide in law schools. One segment are national law schools with ipad and others don't have even mobiles. Parliamentary report has identified the problem of digital acces, next is network and then lack of skill set #webinar #supremecourt
Justice Rao: Report has suggested measures like setting up kiosks etc. Lawyers should have facility to appear in court and if lawyers don't appear in court then access to justice is gone.
Justice Rao: I have been told froma cousin who is a principal that 50 percent students have taken advantage of online classes.
Justice Rao: Some of you who are teachers you will know that you at times teach student with blackboard and then discuss
This has been a problem with online classes. Now it is like a lecture and then interaction later
Justice Rao: lawyers are different. Students need more concentration.
Justice Rao: institutions are not going to open soon as all congregations are closed and people don't want to lose lives. University should consider changing methodalogy of examination and find out basic needs to educate the students through online
Justice Rao: Everybody whether its a lawyer or a law student should adapt himself to changing times and work to the maximum and do justice to the profession
Justice Rao: Many of you might have lost loved ones. You need to take care of mental health. Please keep healthy and don't panic. That's the only way to escape this. There is a grave wave to still come and no one knows what awaits us.
