4/ I don't think gov has ever dropped the idea that infections in the under 50s aren't a problem, I still think they believe infection is a route to immunity

6/ Everything the gov has done fits this narrative, and I'm reminded of early March 2020 when a key component of herd immunity via infection was to use schools like a sluice gate to manage the rate of infection.
