We are gathered today in front of the International Civil Aviation Organization headquarters in Montreal. @ICAO is an organization that is established for the sole purposes of regulating civilian aviation safety.

2/ It regulates and assists member countries to maintain aviation standards that ultimately help save lives. It seems however, that there is a country that has fallen in the blindspot of @ICAO; the Islamic Republic of Iran.

3/ Over 90 percent of fatal aviation incidents in Iran’s history have happened since the 1979 revolution. 101 passenger aircrafts have crashed and 29 of those resulted in fatalities.

4/ 2246 innocent human beings have lost their lives due to the ineptitude and incompetence of those in charge of Iran’s aviation industry. The majority of those incidents have not been investigated or transparently reported on to the victim’s families and citizens.

5/ The latest example is the Tehran-Yasouj crash that was investigated by Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization @Cao_ir and a parliamentary review concluded that it was riddled with deceit, lies and debauchery. The sanctions have been their scapegoat for endangering citizen’s lives.

6/ Gambling and trade with innocent lives of people who are not mere memorial photos or statistics but the Islamic government of Iran considers them subjects and nothing more.

7/ In an investigation conducted by the @ICAO in 2010, it was concluded that contrary to Annex 13, the Iranian Air Accident Investigation Board is not independent of government and political influence and that this must change. It never did.

8/ The regime’s parliament came to the same conclusion and still nothing changed. Now we ask, who is responsible to lead the investigations into the criminal downing of Ukrainian flight #PS752?

9/ The same organization that is in the clenches of the government and its Islamic Revolutionary Guards corp who shot down the plane with two missiles.

10/ PS752 is unique; for the first time in the history of international civil aviation, the Islamic Republic committed a crime on January 8, 2020 that is unprecedented in the 75-year history of ICAO.

11/ For the first time a government shot down a civilian passenger aircraft over the skies of its own capital city airport.
Let us examine the sequence of events over the past 18 months.

12/ On January 8, 2020, the Supreme National Security council of Iran ordered the civilian airspace to remain open amid direct military confrontation with the United States. They themselves emphasized that the country was in a complete state of war on that day.

13/ This decision to use innocent civilians as a human shield was made deep within the top echelons of power with the co-conspiracy of their blood thirsty supreme leader.

14/ At the same time, a surface to air missile system was deployed to a location in the vicinity of Tehran’s Int. Airport. By early morning of that fateful day, all of the pieces of a vicious crime were coming together.
They claim that the missile launcher was missoriented.

15/ They claim that the missile launcher did not misidentify and target any other passenger airplanes that passed over its area of coverage after it was put on high alert.

16/ They claim that the missile launcher operator was unable to make contact with his command center for authorization to fire, but he fired anyway. Two missiles were launched within 25 seconds.

17/ Two missiles were launched while the operator was unable to distinguish the speed, altitude, and rate of ascent of a large InterContinental jet airliner from that of a perceived oncoming cruise missile.

18/ These are some of the collection of unprovable claims that forced the conclusion of incompetence rather than malice and nefariousness.After three days of lies and denial after the downing of the flight, after months of keeping the black boxes hostage and terrorizing the…

19/…families of the victims, even torturing some and persecuting and imprisoning protestors and mourners, after bulldozing the crash site to hide their crimes and after looting and robbing the belongings of the victims and after burning and burying whatever that was not looted…

20/ …and stolen, their officials continue to add insult to irreparable injury and abuse the families.
But what has been @ICAO’s response to these crimes and breaches throughout the long, agonizing months? Nothing.

21/ No emergency meetings like what transpired within hours after the Belarusian hijacking a few months ago, no condemnation of the breaches of @ICAO’s conventions and Iran’s inhumane acts, no urgency in taking action to ensure the safety of Iran’s airspace.

22/ Not even a critique or condemnation of Iran’s final report that was referred to by the Canadian Prime Minister’s special advisor Mr. Ralph Goodale @RalphGoodale as “shambolic”.

23/ To the contrary, @ICAO has rewarded this offending member by meeting with its political leaders and cooperating with its representative who is referred to by Javad Zarif @JZarif as one of the culprits in the crime that led to the downing of flight #PS752.

24/ Farhad Parvaresh is known as a main figure in the #IRGC’s weapons smuggling to Syria and collaboration with the Quds force that is officially listed by Canada as a terrorist organization.

25/ @ICAO helps him to prepare Iran’s final report and as a recent reward, ICAO has allowed European airlines such as Austrian Airlines and Lufthansa to resume commercial flights over the still unsafe skies of Iran.

What is @ICAO thinking? Do any of the members believe that the Islamic Regime follows the rule of law? Does the regime have any morals or principles?

27/ Are they capable of conducting a lawful and safe civil aviation system? Do they have the scientific or analytical and technical competence?

28/ No. The @ICAO governors and its members must know that terrorism rules in Iran, the murderers of civilians rule Iranians as they trample on every basic human right. Injustice rules Iran.

29/ The abject disregard for human life and the rights of the children who were on board flight #PS752 along with university students, accomplished professionals and many other innocent civilians, rules Iran.

30/ It is in the acknowledgement of a murderous ideology and death cult that we have come to a dead end with the international community. It is in recognition of their murderous ideology that we demand condemnation of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

31/ We demand that this regime be held accountable by the free world. We demand that they be expelled from the @ICAO as long as there is no evidence of safer skies over Iranian territory.

32/ We demand that Lufthansa and Austrian airlines stop their flight into Iranian airspace.

38/ We ask you to compel them with every means at your disposal, to answer the multitude of unanswered questions surrounding the heinous crime that brought down flight #PS752 and killed our loved ones. We ask you to demand the truth and nothing but the truth.

39/ We are the victims and witnesses of a heinous, unbelievable crime.

40/ As much as we have endured inhumanity, persecution, threats, intimidation and insults, we are resolute in our fight for justice and we shall never forget those who cooperated with the criminals and those who remained silent in the face of the injustice that was done to us and

41/ …thousands of others who have suffered at the hands of oppression. We will never forget and we shall never forgive.
