Inaugurated the new office of Karnataka Digital Economy Mission (@karnatakadem), at Deshpande Foundation, Hubballi. It has the potential to be the digital hub in Hubballi-Dharwad zone.

We will organise pre-event of #BengaluruTechSummit2021, here in September/October.

KDEM aims to increase digital economy contribution to 30% of SGDP.

It will attract investments & create 10 lakh jobs by 2025. 5 focus verticals- IT products & services, Innovation & Startups, Electronic System Design & Manufacturing (ESDM), #BeyondBengaluru & Talent Accelerator.
To strengthen digital economy, Govt will focus on improving connectivity, providing 24/7 electricity, & reducing rural-urban divide by establishing required infrastructure in rural areas.

ಕೋವಿಡ್‌ ಮೂರನೇ ಅಲೆಯ ಮುಂಜಾಗ್ರತಾ ಕ್ರಮವಾಗಿ ನಡೆದ #KarnatakaCOVID19TaskForce ಸಭೆಯಲ್ಲಿ ಹಲವು ಪ್ರಮುಖ ನಿರ್ಣಯ ತೆಗೆದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲಾಗಿದೆ.

ರಾಜ್ಯದ ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಸ್ಪತ್ರೆ ಮತ್ತು ತಾಲೂಕು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ 25 HDU, 25 ICU ಮತ್ತು 50 ಆಕ್ಸಿಜನೇಟೆಡ್‌ ಸೌಲಭ್ಯ ಇರುವ ಹಾಸಿಗೆ ವ್ಯವಸ್ಥೆ ಮಾಡಲಾಗುವುದು.

🔸146 ತಾಲೂಕು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳು, 19 ಜಿಲ್ಲಾಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳು ಮೇಲ್ದರ್ಜೆಗೆ. ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆ ಮತ್ತು ಸೇವೆಯ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟ ಕಾಯ್ದುಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ತಾಂತ್ರಿಕ ಸಮಿತಿಯ ನೇಮಕ.

🔸ಮಾನವ ಸಂಪನ್ಮೂಲ ಕೊರತೆ ನೀಗಿಸಲು SSLC & PUC ಓದಿರುವ 5,000 ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿಗಳಿಗೆ, ಪ್ರತೀ ತಿಂಗಳು 5000 ರೂ. Stipend ನೀಡಿ 3 ತಿಂಗಳು ತರಬೇತಿ.

🔸ಕೋವಿಡ್‌ ನಿರ್ವಹಣೆಗೆ ಸಂಬಂಧಪಟ್ಟ ಎಲ್ಲ ಆ್ಯಪ್‌ಗಳು ಇನ್ನು 2 ತಿಂಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಒಂದೇ ಪೋರ್ಟಲ್‌ನಲ್ಲಿ ಲಭ್ಯ.

Today, in a high-level meeting held with Karnataka COVID task force officials, we have approved to procure additional supply of necessary medicines, RAT kits & RTPCR kits.

A global tender of short term period of just 7 days will be issued for procuring 2 Cr #vaccines.

The 2 crore COVID vaccines procured through tendering will augment vaccination for the 18-44 years age group.

In addition to this, an order has been placed for 3 crore vaccines, including 1 crore #Covaxin & 2 crores of #Covishield.

Further, we have taken following decisions -

*️⃣ 1 lakh pulse oximeters will be procured and distributed to all the districts and taluks.

*️⃣ 10 lakhs additional #Ivermectin is procured, and the supply will begin on May 14.

ಸರ್ಕಾರಿ ಅಥವಾ ಖಾಸಗಿ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಲ್ಲಿ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಮತ್ತು ಖಾಸಗಿ ಕೋಟಾದಡಿ ದಾಖಲಾಗಿರುವ ಸೋಂಕಿತರು ಚೇತರಿಸಿಕೊಂಡ ನಂತರ ಅವರನ್ನು ಕೋವಿಡ್‌ ಕೇರ್‌ ಸೆಂಟರ್‌ ಅಥವಾ Step Down Hospitalಗಳಿಗೆ ವರ್ಗಾಯಿಸುವ ಕೆಲಸ ಆಗಬೇಕು, ಇದರಿಂದ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗಳಿಗೆ ದಾಖಲಾಗುವ ಇತರ ರೋಗಿಗಳಿಗೆ ಸದುಪಯೋಗವಾಗುವಂತೆ ಪರಿಣಾಮಕಾರಿಯಾಗಿ ಬಳಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಲು ಸಾಧ್ಯ.

ಅಗತ್ಯ ಇರುವವರನ್ನು ಮಾತ್ರ ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಗೆ ದಾಖಲಿಸಿಕೊಳ್ಳಬೇಕು. ಉಳಿದವರಿಗೆ Home Isolation ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ಪಡೆಯುವಂತೆ ಮನವರಿಕೆ ಮಾಡಬೇಕು. ಪ್ರತಿಯೊಂದು ಆಸ್ಪತ್ರೆಯಲ್ಲಿಯೂ ಗುಣಮಟ್ಟದ ಚಿಕಿತ್ಸೆ ನೀಡುವ ದೃಷ್ಟಿಯಿಂದ Audit Quality Monitoring Report ಪಡೆಯುವ ಜತೆ Remote ICU, Remote Monitoring ಅಳವಡಿಸಲು ಪ್ರಾರಂಭಿಸಲಾಗುವುದು.

Took part in a meeting of healthcare experts, chaired by CM Shri @BSYBJP to review #COVID19 measures. Major topics discussed as follows:

*️⃣ Steps would be taken on converting hotels with oxygenated beds into step-down hospitals by using oxygen concentrators.

*️⃣ Measures would be taken to convert beds with a centralized oxygenated system into ICU beds.

*️⃣ In order to overcome medical human resource shortage, steps would be taken to bring in final year medical & nursing students to treat Covid19 patients by providing incentives.

To support the same, final year exams have been postponed & steps will be taken to provide incentives for such students.

*️⃣Steps will be taken to consider final year students of Nursing, Pharmacy, Physiotherapy, AYUSH Practices, Dental & Hospital Management for COVID duty.
