When Nigerian billionaire Femi Otedola in a telephone interview, was asked by the radio presenter, "Sir what can you remember made you a happiest man in life?"
Femi said:
"I have gone through four stages of happiness in life and finally I understood the meaning of true happiness.

“The first stage was to accumulate wealth and means. But at this stage I did not get the happiness I wanted.
“Then came the second stage of collecting valuables and items. But I realised that the effect of this thing is also temporary and the lustre of valuable things does not last long.
“Then came the third stage of getting big projects. That was when I was holding 95% of diesel supply in Nigeria and Africa. I was also the largest vessel owner in Africa and Asia. But even here I did not get the happiness I had imagined.
“The fourth stage was the time a friend of mine asked me to buy wheelchairs for some disabled children. Just about 200 kids.

“At the friend's request, I immediately bought the wheelchairs.
“But the friend insisted that I go with him and hand over the wheelchairs to the children. I got ready and went with him.
“There I gave these wheelchairs to these children with my own hands. I saw the strange glow of happiness on the faces of these children. I saw them all sitting on the wheelchairs, moving around and having fun.
“It was as if they had arrived at a picnic spot where they are sharing a jackpot winning.

“I felt REAL joy inside me. When I decided to leave, one of the kids grabbed my legs. I tried to free my legs gently but the child stared at my face and held my legs tightly.
“I bent down and asked the child: Do you need something else?

“The answer this child gave me not only made me happy but also changed my attitude to life completely.
This child said:

‘I want to remember your face so that when I meet you in heaven, I will be able to recognise you and thank you once again.’ "
What would you be remembered for after you leave that office or place?

Will anyone desire to see your face again where it all matters?

It got me thinking😌🙏🏻. I pray it does the same to everyone.

A story

"Amma, I am going to the Mall along with my wife and daughter."

"OK Son. You go ahead. Already my legs are paining. I am not interested in coming to the Mall. You go ahead."
" Grandma, you should also come" insisted the grand daughter ...

"Grandma cannot climb all those steps in the Mall. She does not know how to use the escalator. As there are no temples there, Grandma would not be interested.
She is interested only in going to temples" said the daughter in law.

Though Grandma agreed with this statement, Grand daughter was adamant. She refused to go to the Mall if Grandma was not accompanying them.

WHO ARE YOU? 🤔🤔🤔

During one of his travels, Kalidasa felt very thirsty and looked around for water. He saw a woman drawing water from a well.
He went up to her and asked her for water. She agreed to give him water, but asked him, “Who are you? Introduce yourself.”

Now Kalidasa thought that an ordinary village woman was not worthy of knowing who Kalidasa was. So he said, “I am a traveller.”
Lady replied, “In this world there are only 2 travellers – the Sun and the Moon. Both Rise and Set every day and keep travelling perpetually.”

Then Kalidasa said, “Alright then, I am a guest.”

IT'S ALL IN THE COFFEE!!

Some lovely thoughts for all you morning ☕ and 🍵 lovers 💗.

A young couple had neighbours who were senior citizens, the husband around 80 years old & the wife about 5 years younger.
The young couple were very fond of the elderly couple & made it a point to visit them & have coffee with them every Sunday.
They observed that the old man would always ask the old lady to make coffee & the old lady would bring the coffee bottle to her husband to be opened, every time.
