A recipient of Best Librarian in India Award, Cambridge honored him as one of the ‘noblest men of the world’ and the UN recognised him as one of the most outstanding people of 20th century.

A lot of us may not be aware of existence of this noble man: Shri Palam Kalyanasundaram

Every month in his 30 year experience (service as a Librarian), he donated his entire salary to help the needy. He worked as a waiter in a hotel to meet his needs. He even donated his entire pension amount of over ₹ 10 lakhs to the needy.

He is the first person in the world to spend the entire earnings for a social cause. In recognition to his service, the American Govt honoured him with the ‘Man of the Millennium’ award. He received a sum of Rs 30 Crs as part of this award which he distributed entirely too.

By-poll for Maharashtra assembly seat Pandharpur was held recently.

The region has been NCP stronghold & even the massive Modi wave had zero impact here.

For the bypoll, BJP fielded its candidate while from Maha Vikas Aghadi, a NCP candidate was fielded.

This means it was BJP vs NCP+SS+INC in a seat which is NCP stronghold.

So it was obvious that MVA wud hv won easily. Popular NCP leaders like Ajit Pawar campaigned here in full swing. Fadnavis meanwhile campaigned for BJP candidate.

Now, unexpected happened. BJP won the seat.

3 out of the 4 main parties of a state fight in a seat together, that too a seat that is stronghold of one of those parties. They cud hv easily polled 60% votes, but they end up losing to 4th party (BJP), which had negligible presence here.

On 7th of Dec, Cadet Amit Raj of Sainik School(Purulia) was at his hometown in Bihar when he heard people shouting at his neighbourhood.

Went out to see a house was on fire. Without thinking and entered the house to save 3 children who were trapped inside. He sustained 85% of burn by the time he saved the first two children and decided to save the third one.

Once a poor man was given a pot🏺 of flour so he hung it on his wall & fell asleep. He dreamt that he would become rich and achieve great things in life. But his daydreams were disturbed by a bunch of kids. So to make them go away he accidentally breaks his pot.

From this story, we learn that a man can dream of a lot of things but without hard work, nothing can be achieved. Thus the phrase ‘Don’t build castles in the air, they will fall’ is true.

‘हंस के लिया है पाकिस्तान, लड़ के लेंगे हिन्दुस्तान’ की पूर्ति के लिए नवनिर्मित पाकिस्तान ने 1947 में ही कश्मीर पर हमला कर दिया। देश रक्षा के दीवाने संघ के स्वयंसेवकों ने उनका प्रबल प्रतिकार किया।

उन्होंने भारतीय सेना, शासन तथा जम्मू-कश्मीर के महाराजा हरिसिंह को इन षड्यन्त्रों की समय पर सूचना दी। इस गाथा का एक अमर अध्याय 27 नवम्बर, 1948 को कोटली में लिखा गया, जो इस समय पाक अधिकृत कश्मीर में है।

A real life story that happened in Tinsukia District, Assam.

A vegetable seller, Soberan, was coming home, pushing his vegetable thela.

He heard a baby crying in the bushes. Soberan went near the bush and saw an infant lying on the heap of garbage, crying.

Soberane looked around, waited a while and when no one appeared, lifted her in the lap. It was a baby girl.

Soberan brought her home. Soberan was 30 years old at that time and was unmarried. He was very happy and decided to raise the child single-handedly.

He named the girl, Jyoti!! Soberan worked hard day and night and did not let her feel the lack of anything. He sent her to school and did everything he could to fulfill her needs. Even if he had to remain hungry, he never let his daughter fall short of anything.
