To those who triumphantly declared “Pandemic is over” a few months ago… now we are in deeper pandemic with #DeltaVariant than ever before because we didn’t high filtration #MaskUp, #vaccinate or ventilate/disinfect indoor air—and ignored India warnings.
2) what pisses me off now is that we have truly endangered our children this time around. No vaccines for kids under 12 yet.
This is now the result — all time RECORD HIGH hospitalization in kids now with #DeltaVariant wave!!!
3) Also infuriating to me is how many used insider connections to profiteer off of massive secret back channels during the pandemic.
4) the willful distortion and skewing of data by taking advantage of reporting delays to make new deaths look artificially low is also infuriating. Florida is also tip of the iceberg. The lack of good testing in many countries is also purposeful (cough, Mexico 🇲🇽, cough)
5) We have made so many grave mistakes during the pandemic. Some political last year during Trump era, some completely UNFORCED ERRORS like what the CDC stupidly did in May in relaxing masks. Now their bad decision has caused #DeltaVariant to come up. cbsnews.com/amp/video/doct…
6) I had been upset for 2 months fed up with CDC’s no mask needed approach - all which watching #DeltaVariant surge worldwide after it likely killed 2-3 million people in India in April-June!!! But hey… “that can’t happen to us”, said so many addicted to convenient “good news”

2) In August, the new analysis estimates that the preventable costs of treating unvaccinated patients in hospitals total $3.7 billion, almost twice than June & July combined. The total preventable costs for 3 months now an estimated $5.7 billion.

2) moreover. The enhanced booster effects begin being apparent after day 12, increasing higher effects starting even day 10 after the shot perhaps.
3) most were not that elderly either 60-69. I’m also glad to see they enrolled 14% Arab population. The bulk were vaccinated in early February. Thinking of all the people who got vaccines before March that could benefit from this.
