5) 1486 deaths in a week is a sharp 38.7% spike in one week! Also, the weekly first-time daily positivity rate surged to 19.8% one week, including 24.8% among those 12-19 and 23% in kids under 12–the **highest positivity l of the categories***!!

6) Kids TRANSMIT and young kids under 8 especially TRANSMIT more than thought… and this data from Canada predates #DeltaVariant — which is more infectious and faster transmission than any other strain.
7) Kids who can barely breathe… this 3 year old was hospitalized and even needs to go on a BIPAP breathing assistance pump machine to survive… kids are at risk damnit—don’t trust anyone who have said kids are “practically immune”.

9) #DeltaVariant truly is the scourge that we epidemiologists have feared all pandemic… it’s now a 2.0 pandemic. But DeSantis just chooses to ignore it.

11) Florida Supreme Court really needs to step in to stop DeSantis. Texas Supreme Court has now overruled its dystopian Governor @GregAbbott_TX on his ban of mask mandates.
12) To be clear, Florida’s new weekly deaths is an all time record under the original reporting method of net new deaths, but not a record under their new skewed reporting system that takes advantage of delayed reporting (which is highly controversial and much criticized).

2) moreover. The enhanced booster effects begin being apparent after day 12, increasing higher effects starting even day 10 after the shot perhaps.
3) most were not that elderly either 60-69. I’m also glad to see they enrolled 14% Arab population. The bulk were vaccinated in early February. Thinking of all the people who got vaccines before March that could benefit from this. Image

“The meaning of this is that there are currently thousands of children in Israel suffering from long-term effects,” the statement said.

2) About 25,000 to 30,000 Israelis, most of them male Hasidic Jews, traveled to celebrate the Jewish New Year. Israel’s Health Ministry found that dozens of them had arrived back in 🇮🇱 infected with the virus despite carrying documents indicating that they had tested negative.
3) Prime Minister Naftali Bennett’s office said in a statement that it “views with utmost gravity” the entry of people with forged documents, “willfully spreading a disease,” adding that severe action would be taken against offenders.
