Recently I had a Darshan of Bhagawan #Mahadeva's manifestation in the form of Shiva Lingam at Siddhanath Mahadev Mandir, located at Nemawar, Dt. Dewas, M.P.
The temple, located on the banks of River Narmada is exiquisite and gave me a divine feeling.

The temple, located on the banks of River Narmada is exiquisite and gave me a divine feeling.
It is said that this point, where the Mandir is located, is the Nabhisthal (Navel or midpoint) of River Narmada. One can say that in some ways, it lies between Mahakaal Jyotirling and Omkareshwar Jyotirling.

According to Sthala Purana and the locals, there is a connection to the Mahabharata with this temple. This is one of the rare temples that faces the West. The story goes that one time the Kauravas and Pandavas challenged each other to build a temple in one night.
As the Kauravas were greater in number, they successfully finished building this temple while the Pandavas were unable to finish theirs. Kauravas made fun of Pandavas for their inability to do this. So Bheema, overnight, did something remarkable.
Bheema using all his strength turned the temple which was east-facing into west-facing. (This I was told by a local) and gave a lesson to Kauravas.

Utterly beautiful and exquisite piece of workmanship is what one can say. And one more beauty of this temple is that the Stones sit atop one another and are not joined using typical civil construction methods.
Where there is Mahadev, Nandi has to be there!! So is he here as well, sitting calmly. No words can capture the beauty of this!!
