7) "...It showed patterns of coverups by admins & Board of Ed officials & this culture of intimidation & coverups by- and for- the football team.
Letting bullying, violence, harassment, sexual assault & misconduct be swept under the rug for the sake of the untouchables..."
8) "It empowered bullies & normalized the behavior. The athletes' circle felt entitled & above those they abused in order to show off to each other.
Escalated until they sexually abused & sodomized younger players & were cocky enough to film it like nothing would happen..."
9) "Administrators, coaches, & police knew the video was there, saw it, and tried to sweep it under the rug…starting with the admins who downplayed it as rumors. The superintendent who was convicted, Habel, brought people in who came from his corrupt culture..."
10) "The video of the assault was out there being seen for about 2 weeks, with nothing happened, until some good parents concluded that the Wall BoE and Wall PD were part of the problem, and they had to go around them..."
11) "The boy who was arrested for the sexual assaults wasn't involved in the so-called 'hazings' as far as I know, but he's part of the team. So the crimes get conflated..."
12) "The athletes' parents who did the 'hazings' have DEEP to the most affluent and powerful people in this part of NJ.
FINALLY, they've run into resistance. The first state playoff game had EMPTY stands because so many boycotted it...." [source provided a photo to prove this]
13) "...One of the parents of the athletes who did the 'hazing' is an administrator in [redacted].
The other kid's parent owns the gym where the cops (remember two coaches are cops) and athletes worked out and shared steroids..."
14) "Everything I'm saying is well-known in #WallTownship. Now you see it and more details and allegations all over social media. I bet there's a ton I don't know about that is about to come out.
And this type of culture is developed over a long period of time..."
15) "Teachers are scared of retaliation from parents & other teachers & coaches.
Parents and victims are scared of retaliation from the untouchable group of bullies, coaches, teachers & that entire circle...
Every1 fears retaliation from bosses, colleagues or police..."
16) The source, while watching the #WallTownship BoE meeting, then finds inspiration from a Wall freshman who stands up to call out the culture of bullying...
Others tell admins they have blood from the boy's suicide on their hands.
17) ...The mother of a mentally-handicapped boy publicly addresses the #WallTwp BoE.
She says her boy was forced to perform a sexual act on another football player.
The culture of retaliation, bullying acceptance & coverup deterred her from reporting it [source's description]
18) Here is a public Facebook post reacting to the #WallTwp Board of Education meeting about the scandal:
19) Here's an anecdote from me. One kid was bullying my Chinese friends, but he only did it because he was pressured by the football players at his lunch table.
They pressured him into fighting my Chinese friend (who won). Then....
20) Bully spit blood all over the face of my friend's younger sis (who hilariously yelled "YOU JUST GAVE ME AIDS!")
He repeatedly screamed racial slurs at them as teachers led him out of cafeteria.
Admins told my friends' mom that a normal fight happened & denied all the rest.
It's time to excise the cultural tumor you've let grow since I was there.
I didn't even get treated terribly, except by Mr. Lowenstein, the psychopathic sadistic computers teacher (and coach) who you knew was a nasty SOB & didn't stop
